Internews Rwanda has among the best equipped and skilled video teams in the country. Active in Rwanda for over a decade, the team has extensive experience in the production of high-definition documentary films, which have been screened at reputed international film festivals (in Germany, South Africa and Canada). Over 60 documentary films have been produced. Recent areas of focus have been on gender-based violence, health and demobilization issues.

Les Enfants de Dieu

Family planning is becoming a key factor for a country’s economic development. Has sub-Saharan countries still face a high birth rates, what does it means to have a large family, especially in conflict zones and what does the Church has to say about birth control.

Passes et goal

A film reflecting the links created between the various populations via football; the film is insisting on the role that football plays for the integration of child ex-combatants and presents the case of various football players of Congolese nationality playing in Rwanda, including in the Rwanda National Team-the Amavubi.

Kikwembe felicitations !

The symbol of the fabric used by the Congolese women for clothing is an entry point and showing the links between the people of the Great Lakes Region and the exchanges that are taking place despite some political tensions.
The Pagne (kikwembe or gitenge) crossed the borders from DRC and is reflecting in a humoristic way the history of the region. If the gitenge managed to cross the border peacefully, why people should not follow its example?
